About pattern-aware CS2 skin pricing
Most CS2 skin price checkers only look at the item name and wear. Dispattern goes further by factoring in the pattern index — a value between 0 and 1000 that determines how a Case Hardened, Fade, Doppler, or Marble Fade skin looks. Two skins with the same name and float can look completely different, and collectors pay a premium for rare patterns like blue gems, high-percentage fades, and clean marble fade knife patterns.
The Price Checker blends data from Steam Community Market, Buff163, Skinport, and other marketplaces to produce a single estimate. Outlier prices are cross-checked against 90-day averages to avoid skewed results. For pattern-sensitive skins, the estimate is adjusted up or down based on the rarity and desirability of the specific pattern index.
Use the Price Checker to get a quick ballpark before listing, trading, or buying. For high-value transactions, always cross-reference recent comparable sales and consider getting a second opinion from the community.
